Many schools in Northern Ireland and throughout the UK enjoy the benefits of a school garden. Whether it’s space to grow fruit and vegetables, to enjoy nature, to learn in or just to play in. There is no doubt that increased value is now placed in outdoor education and a school garden is a valuable asset to any school. From pre-school to higher educational settings, horticulture is becoming more popular in the curriculum and more young ( and mature ) students are seeing the many job opportunities arising in this industry.
